Minor in Sustainability
The School of Sustainability will offer a Minor in Sustainability to undergraduate students across various departments, providing them with the opportunity to delve into pressing sustainability challenges. The school recognizes that addressing sustainability issues requires an interdisciplinary approach. Interested students will have the flexibility to select from a carefully curated basket of courses offered by different departments within the field of sustainability. To be eligible for the minor degree, students will need to successfully complete a total of 4 courses from the suggested curriculum. This minor program aims to offer a comprehensive understanding of sustainability, encompassing its environmental, social, and economic dimensions, thus preparing students for impactful contributions to a better world.
IDDD Program in Sustainability
We are thrilled to announce our plans for the launch of the Interdisciplinary Dual Degree (IDDD) program, currently in development, at the esteemed School of Sustainability, IIT Madras. This innovative 5-year program will offer students from diverse academic backgrounds the opportunity to become sustainability professionals and pursue careers in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) sectors. The program, open to 4-year B.Tech students of IIT Madras who can choose to convert their degrees into the IDDD program during their third year, will provide a comprehensive and interdisciplinary understanding of sustainability. Executive Education Programs on Sustainability
